The Global Communication and Resource Centre (GCRC) is the international coordination and communication office for Create International. We serve our seven teams — now in five countries, on three continents. The GCRC team is involved not only with our own productions; but we also oversee and assist with all of Create International’s film and animation projects. In addition to this we are the official facilitation team for the 20/20 Vision projects often joining other ministries as they produce films that relate to the 20/20 Vision peoples. We are equipped with the latest in DSLR camera technology and have one of the most complete DP lighting setups in all of Create International. So we are very well equipped to do film productions on our own when necessary. We also have a studio lighting setup for green screen interviews in our new office. The GCRC office is located in a ministry friendly restaurant called Sojo’s Cafe. Here is their website: http://www.sojoscafe.com Much of what we do as a team is related to networking and equipping the Body of Christ for effective cross-cultural ministry to the world’s Unreached Peoples. We believe that the Lord has strategically placed us in this location. SOJO’S CAFE We are located directly across from one of the most popular Christian schools in Chiang Mai, Grace International. Many international students come over to chat and have coffee and snacks. It is an awesome place to meet people of all ages and backgrounds. Our office is also right next door to the YWAM Chiang Mai office where the city leadership team works and meets. Sojo’s Conference Room where we normally have the YWAM Chiang Mai once a month fellowship love feasts Just one block away is the YWAM Chiang Mai “Outreach Center” where all outreach teams coming into the city are trained and oriented before being placed in outreach locations. We are also just one block away from the BAM (Business as Missions) training and staff facility, and 5 minutes drive from the new Call2All Training Campus. On this campus is a 500 seat 24-7 IHOP prayer centre, and a 400 student accommodation facility especially created to train and release missionaries for the “Back to Jerusalem” movement. Finally, Sojo’s is located inside of a neighborhood called “World Club Land” where most of the leaders of mission agencies in the city are living. Our church has a large “Family Ministries Centre” also just one block from our office where they coordinate numerous initiatives related to Child Trafficking, Orphanages, Women at Risk, and Community Development ministries. It is still a majority Thai neighborhood, but Sojo’s is used as their main fellowship location for chats and small group meetings. Again a perfect place for networking with other believers and mission leaders.
