Prayer Points for Create Outreach April 2010

Ask the Lord that His anointing will rest on us.
Pray for the Holy Spirit's Presence while we film.
Thank the Lord for His protection for us against the enemy's plans to disrupt what we are doing.

Actors.  
Pray for Health.
Pray that they will understand directors.
Pray that they will feel fresh everyday and wont get tired.
Pray for unity.
Pray that the actors will be able to memorize their lines and that
they wont feel stressed to act.

• Praise Point:  At many conferences we are hearing how Create International's resources have blessed workers around the world. Many tell us how these tools have helped unreached people to come to Christ.
• Pray for Calvin and Carol as they serve all the Create centers and teams as international directors. 
• Pray for wisdom and anointing as the GCRC team expands and we seek God for strategies for upcoming projects.
• Pray for preparations for Create's next international staff gathering in April 2010.
• Pray for wisdom as we edit several presentations geared toward increasing prayer and involvement especially among unreached Muslim people groups.

• Pray that we will maintain momentum in our team.
• Pray protection over our websites.
• Pray for our SFM. 
• Pray for our new staff joining us. May we just grow more and more in number and production.
• Pray for our viral video project.  We are seeing some momentum but we need more ideas and wisdom.
• Thank you for praying for us.

• Praise points: we're thankful for how God has orchestrated our two months of touring and presenting a call to missions in New Zealand. We did over 75 presentations involving thousands of Kiwis from all ages, Christians and non-Christians.
  
  On one occasion, God used us to speak to a group of 100 girls from a Catholic highschool on a retreat day. The previous day, the teacher had been calling out to God to give her some encouragement about whether to continue doing what she's doing and whether it was making a difference. Her schedule "happened" to have 30 un-planed minutes the day we showed up. Her request for us to share our story opened up into us showing Voices Intro and Nomads Mongolia as well as challenging the students and teachers about stepping out in faith into whatever God calls them to. We gave the head teacher a copy of the ENGAGE DVD package to continue teaching about God's heart for the world with the religious education classes. Thank you so much to all of you who have been standing with us in prayer through this journey.

• Pray: For us to be able to finish the Music video and the Puppet drama production. Both are in their last phase.
• For the Upcoming media DTS that begins on 3rd June'10. We need students, some from India and some from 'A' and 'B' category nations.
• We need to upgrade our equipment to be able to work effectively, computer hardware and software and also need a second video camera.
• Need a experienced video editor, camera guy and graphic designer.

• Praise point:  Editing and Production on all the Shan media projects are going well and workers are anxious for the finished products.
• Pray for God's grace and leading as we seek to build an arts and media community in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
• Pray for God's provision for all our staff's missionary support and for needed media equipment to upgrade and enhance productions.

Upcoming Centers

Joy Dawson DVD's with teachings on Prayer

How do you eat a whole elephant?  Bit by bit!  How do I clear a snooker table?  Ball by ball... How do I cover 40 important prayer topics for one ministry? Day by day on a regular basis :-) 

I usually pray through the prayer points for 30 minutes. I start with 15 minutes, trying to keep it only to 3-4 points at most per prayer session.  I ask the Lord what He has to say about the first point before I jump to the next one, and so on.  Its like playing snooker - I sink the yellow ball  first before I go on to blue ball... if the yellow ball is not sunk, I don’t move on to quick to the other points...  I want to feel how I “finish” praying in the spirit before I move to the next point.  It is a simple discipline to linger a little bit longer and to wait for God to speak specifics,  but is has great value.

Keeping note every morning (or night) as I pray is very important.   (I bought a nice new book in January and it feels great. ;-)
Example:  I have been praying for the Create SFM school every Tuesday but I  “keep the snooker game going”  meaning:  I keep going back to the last prayer notes I had for Tuesday/Schools the previous week and I kept shooting the "yellow ball" and finally I could move on to "the blue ball" meaning another topic related to the school.
I did not hop-skip and jump on points but strategically waited on God to finish talking about what He said the last week.
