Art and Still Media

 

Exciting new evangelistic tools are being created to communicate the gospel message to the peoples of the world in ways that they can understand. Using careful research into colors, symbols and the cultural style of a people group, we are developing finely crafted works of art that can be multiplied and distributed to communicate a message of God’s love and hope through Jesus Christ.

In the past we’ve made great use of a variety of still media, including creating photo-sets and painting large pieces of art on canvas. Presently, many of our teams work predominantly in areas such as graphic design, photography, comic books, and web design.

That said, by far our most prolific artists in this sphere are those working on media for children, creating a diverse range of tactile tools, including illustrated reading books and colouring books.

Art as a Universal Language

 

We produce art that communicates to the heart of cultures and resonates with the people of that culture. Contrary to common belief, art is not a universal language. We strive to translate the gospel of truth into the visual language of the unreached people groups that we do projects for. This can come in various forms like; paintings on canvas, storybooks, coloring books, fine art multi-plane animation and more. As our art team grows, the possible forms of art to bring this contextualized gospel message also are expanding. The possibilities are endless!

Tightly connected to the art team we aim to produce animation that communicates to the heart of cultures and resonates with the people of that culture. We strive to translate the gospel of truth into the visual language of individual unreached people groups.

Every resource we create has a specific distribution method, managed and run by on-field workers, so that it gets to the right people! But, if you’re looking to use our resources in your own context, it can then be a little difficult to find exactly where those resources can be found. This is why we use Indigitube!

Indigitube is the best place to find our resources, in all of the languages that they’re offered in. You can filter and search by language, people group, and country, giving you an excellent way to find the right resource for the people you’re serving!
