Vision 2033 is an ambitious initiative aimed at producing gospel films for 554 unreached people groups, each with populations ranging from 50,000 to one million. Our Create International teams, along with our media ministry partners, are beginning to produce these gospel films tailored for these groups. A key goal of Vision 2033 is to empower others to develop high-quality, affordable, reproducible, and multi-lingual media tools for this purpose.
This initiative also has a distinct mandate: to enable local workers and movement leaders to produce gospel resources for unreached people groups. These leaders already possess a strong drive for multiplication. Currently, there are 1,966 Disciple Making Movements worldwide, encompassing 115 million disciples. On average, each movement reaches 10,000 disciples within its first decade. By serving and equipping these movement leaders, Vision 2033 aims to facilitate this multiplication process. The goal is to equip and empower those whom God is raising up from Unreached People Groups to evangelize and disciple their own people, as well as to reach out to near-neighbor unreached people groups.
“From the Harvest to the Harvest” encapsulates our vision, emphasizing the importance of local workers using their own indigenous media to raise up new disciples from within their own communities. This focus is embodied in our new initiative, Media4Movements, which prioritizes supporting and empowering these leaders.
